This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Keeping up with virtual curriculum and materials requires a strong reliable computer. In addition to the new materials needing to be created, my students also need efficient feedback on their virtual learning and the MacBook will help ensure that I can do this. The features provided through a MacBook makes it a powerful learning tool to continue teaching my students at the highest level possible.
For example, I can create “virtual field trip" videos and end of the year videos for them.
Having a new MacBook would allow me to easily and quickly put a field trip video together using iMovie. My current computer does not have the memory or program capabilities to handle fun projects and lessons like these to help keep my students engaged and excited during virtual learning.
Scholars will also use this MacBook to create their morning announcements. Before the pandemic my scholars took 2nd place in our National Beta Club state competition. This resource will help us ensure a 1st place win next time!
