This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love to see charts with their names, with their birthdays and with the class jobs! It promotes class togetherness and ownership. Students feel involved and part of the classroom family when they take up on responsibility.
Additionally, students really benefit from having an established calendar morning routine.
This allows students to begin their day with counting, place value, seeing patterns, identifying days, months, weather, and year.
The calendar, number chart and jobs board will ensure my students have an established routine, feel part of my classroom and practice their math skills on a daily basis.
Thank you for any and all support to my classroom!
