My Students

My students love to learn, play and be creative! We are a diverse group of students from different backgrounds and cultures. Together, we create a learning environment that is accepting, caring, creative and educational. We see each other as individuals with special talents and things to offer. All of my students are hard-workers and understand the importance of doing their best in everything. They are thoughtful and empathetic and enjoy applying what they learn within the school and the community.

My Project

There is no better start to the school day than morning meeting! Our morning meeting is a time and place where students can feel comfortable and take ownership of their day. As a class, we go over the calendar and events of the day, our hopes and dreams, a daily question and math facts. Having the right supplies such as those in this project, can help facilitate this daily routine. For example, pocket charts allow the routines to be interactive and student friendly and the bean bags will be used for student of the week or as a classroom reward.
