My Project

Morning meeting is one of my favorite times of day in the classroom. During this time, we read a special morning message, greet each other in a variety of fun and different ways, share, and do a fun activities. Many of our daily morning messages talk about an interesting or obscure National Day. The students really enjoy learning fun facts about these days.

Help me give my students more read-alouds to coordinate with the National Days in our morning messages.

This year I am hoping to add something new to our morning meeting time!

I have started to add a picture book read aloud. Read aloud is a great time to listen to a story for enjoyment as well as a time to hear fluent reading. Morning meeting is already a favorite time for my students and I think this addition will make it even more enjoyable!
