Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Research shows that softer starts to the morning, are more beneficial for students!

I’m going to use these items, including mazes and blocks, to make morning bins for my students so they can start the day playing before we roll into learning.

This will set a calm, relaxing, and inviting environment in our classroom.

It will give me students something to look forward to in the morning. It will spark their creativity and allow for social-emotional development as they work together on these morning bins.

I want to create a classroom my students look forward to coming to!
