My students need a clean carpet to sit on when doing group activities and since I am going to transform my class to flexible seating I feel the flex ball seats will be a great addition.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school in east Texas where more than 75% of the school population receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.

My kids come to school every day eager to learn.

I would love to have extra things to encourage this learning. We work hard to go above and beyond the normal learning atmosphere to keep them eager to learn new things.

I have 18 students in my class and out of the 18, probably 1 or 2 may have some form of technology at home for them to use to go over and above what is expected at school. I would love to be the one who makes the difference in their lives.

My Project

The students will have a nice clean floor area to sit on when we are doing our group work and the rug can also be used for many of our Math projects. The seats will give them their fourth choice of seating for the class time. I hope that as we rotate through the day every child will get to know the fun of sitting on the balls.

I am really getting excited about trying flex seating this coming year in my classroom.

I know that very child will benefit from this decision. Hopefully we will figure out for each student the way they learn best.
