This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my General Art 1 and 2 classes create many wonderful works of art. Outside the classroom the walls are white and bare. Hanging work on walls requires the use of tape which does not always hold up for long periods of time.
Having cork board, felt strips and Velcro squares added to the walls above lockers and in the hallway will allow students work to be displayed more securely and for all to see.
This will allow for students and their peers to view their work daily while walking to their classes.
