Help me give my students lap desks, timers, letters, numbers and ways to tote all these materials around. With very limited space, my students would lose a good portion of instruction time moving around the building.
I am a learning specialist and work with students in grades 2 and 3 this year. I have one small room for groups, but it is located upstairs. The majority of my caseload are second graders, and their classrooms are downstairs. I would lose valuable instruction time having students follow me to my small group room. With the materials I have selected, I can bring all of my instructional materials to the students creating a learning space wherever we are. This would ensure that I can spend my time educating my students to support their academic needs. The lessons I teach require a LOT of materials- everything from sand trays to alphabet cards - from whiteboards to paper. These materials would allow me to create a mobile learning space that would ensure ALL my students have access to the same materials and educational experience. I am so excited to work with my new students this year and just want to set them up for success as best as I can.
