Help me give my students really innovative STEM projects with building bricks and create a change reaction kits that are more than just toilet paper rolls and tape!
My 4th graders are excited and energetic learners who love a good STEM challenge. We have made rollercoasters out of toilet paper rolls and tape, and we have used our share of toothpicks, straws, and pipe cleaners.
I want to offer more in the area of STEM with some good building centers that will allow them to work in groups of 3-4.
Since Covid-19, my 4th graders really need to learn how to work together to complete a project. They also need something challenging and fun to get those engineer brain cells going.
The STEM kits by Lakeshore includes building houses for earthquakes, chain reactions with simple machines, and a building kit with simple challenges that they can do in smaller groups.
