My students need a large Worm Factory and Compositing Bin, plus all the materials to get it up and running.
This project expired on May 15, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
8th Grade Merrill Science students have had a unique opportunity to pursue Independent Projects this year. Students have lead research projects about parasites, cancer research, organic/non organic products, and many other captivating subjects.
A small group of students are trying to make Merrill Middle School a Greener & Healthier school.
This group is making big strides to leave a lasting legacy at Merrill & they need your help!
Although they will graduate from Merrill and head to high school, they will pass down a unique opportunity for other students to take ownership of making Merrill greener and healthier!
A small group of students have designed & are promoting this project as part of an effort to qualify our school as a Green & Healthy School of Wisconsin. Qualifying will not only provide our school with special recognition, but also give students access to more helpful resources to care for our environment!
Students' learning experience is much more powerful and lasting when they are active participants.
Students will be in charge of collecting materials for the Worm Factory 360 Composting Bin as well as the up keep required. When compost is ready students will put it to use in our Merrill gardens and flower beds.
