More Than Just Bacon And Ham!

My Project

My High School biology students are great at using their phones to do virtual reality, but what they need is hands-on experiences to get them hooked into learning.

This fetal pig model is detailed enough to show every major organ in the body, but simple enough that every student, from basic learners to advanced aspiring surgeons can easily learn how to quickly disassemble and assemble the body.

I have 2 of these already so know they are great, but in a class of 30 students, my goal is to get one of these for each of my 7 lab stations for better access for my students. These aren’t cheap, so I’m just asking for one at a time, but they will stand up to years of student use and are well worth the cost.

We are looking at tough times ahead for public schools and I want to give my students the materials they deserve and the tools yjey need to be successful in biology careers after they graduate, or at least give them a good idea of how their bodies work and why it is important to be life-long caretakers of these bodies.
