Because of your generosity, my students will have access to healthy food all year long. \r\n\r\nJust today, I had a student come in after school for help. One project that stands out is our creative writing assignment, where students were able to use new notebooks, pens, and colored markers. Having the proper materials made such a difference in the quality of their work and their enthusiasm for the assignment. Additionally, the snacks provided, like granola bars and fruit, have been a lifesaver during our long days, keeping students energized and focused. It's amazing to see how something as simple as having the right supplies and a quick snack can make a big impact on student performance and motivation.\r\n\r\nThe students have been so excited and thankful for the food and supplies that were made available to them. They often express gratitude when they receive a snack or a new set of materials, especially for those who might not have the means to get these items on their own. Having the extra support ensures that they don't have to worry about things like whether they'll have enough to eat during the day or if they'll be able to complete their assignments due to lack of supplies. It creates a sense of security, allowing them to focus more on their learning and less on those outside challenges. I've noticed that their attitudes in class are more positive, and their work quality has improved significantly.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their reactions were full of appreciation and joy. Many students were genuinely surprised by the generosity and couldn't believe they had access to things like extra snacks and supplies. Some students even shared with me how they'd often go without certain supplies at home, so being able to take home a notebook or extra pens was a huge relief. Their gratitude is something that stands out every day, and it's clear that having these resources available has made a tangible difference in their overall well-being and success in the classroom. It's a reminder of how much small acts of kindness and support can do for students who need it most.","fullyFundedDate":1733334365070,"projectUrl":"project/snack-supply-boost-supporting-student/8603993/","projectTitle":"Snack & Supply Boost: Supporting Student in Need.","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Penrod","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8395521"},{"teacherId":8378657,"projectId":8641963,"letterContent":"Thank you again for the generous contributions to my classroom so I could purchase calculators for my math classes. The cornhole sets enhance the social experience, but also offer a refreshing break from the usual lunchtime activities.\r\nMade this project, particularly enjoyable, was the collaboration among various student groups, showcasing their diverse talents. The graphics department designed a mascot logo for the cornhole boards while other students help apply these designs, adding a personal touch to the project. The woodworking class, then sealed the boards with varnish, ensuring they were ready for use.
