Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a beautiful library were 400 students visit a week. The students enjoy visiting the library during their recess and lunch. It is a place where they can read for pleasure, draw, play games, and build with blocks. With so many students in and out of the library essential materials take a toll.
I would like to replenish materials that students use in the library.
Students need crayons, and pencils to use in the library. At the moment, my crayon boxes have broken crayons and limited choices. My pencils are becoming smaller and smaller. The library would also benefit from repair tape, name tags, bookmarks and hall passes. All of these materials will support a smooth library visit for students.
