it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners are crafty and creative thinkers! They love to build, create, and imagine. However many of them struggle with fine motor skills making some tasks challenging to the point of frustration. Writing, cutting, or using linking cubes in math can especially lead to some tears and self-doubt. While I do my best to build their confidence and help, they also need tools that will give them opportunities to increase their fine motor skills.
Help give my scholars the fine motor skills they need to tackle challenges with confidence!
All the items on my list will be used to develop scholars fine motor skills along with their academic skills. For example, dot markers will be used to practice letter formation. Scoop scissors will be used to sort and count objects in math. My scholars will feel like they are just playing, when in reality they are building their fine motor skills and academic knowledge.
