My Project
Students are learning how to use a text. They are excited to learn that there is more to a book than just pictures. In first grade, students are learning how to read for information and respond to this information through writing.
Magazines are a great way to introduce students to another form of information.
Students will use these magazines for research. They will also be an extension of the learning we do in class. These magazines can be an engaging and interactive start to some great conversations around science topics.
