Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school district was established in 1872 and currently serves approximately 1,900 students in three elementary schools, one middle school, one K-8 independent charter school, and one alternative school. The student population is 50% Hispanic, 31% White, 19% Other, 30% English learner, and 60% Socioeconomically disadvantaged.
----Many of my students and their families are new to school use technology/ Chrome Books.
We will begin the school year slow and work our way up to more advance programs and platforms online!----
My Project
We are excited to use Lummi sticks to make music at home. Each student will receive Playdough to use at home and help with stress and anxiety.
Ms. J will use lamp to increase quality of recorded videos as well as help lighten her up during live Zoom classes.
Laptop stand will help students see more of their classroom. HDMI cord and web camera will connect to monitor making is easier for Ms.J to see all her brilliant students. 2 chargers help guarantee laptop is always charged and ready to go.
