My Project
For most of our students, traditional mathematics units of study and lessons are just not sufficient to engage students. The boom in technology has provided math educators with a wealth of tools to increase student engagement.
I am trying to be more creative for our students and differentiate the curriculum in a more relevant and culturally responsive manner by adding relevant technology.
By getting Apple iPads and keyboard cases, I will be able to incorporate technology regularly in order to get the students more engaged with math content. Most importantly, I can demonstrate ways for students to be more competent in using technologies to solve problems throughout their lifetime in ways that interest them.
