My Students

Thank you for checking out our Donorschoose page! We are grateful that you've helped us achieve success in the past, and given us some basics that we use daily in our classroom.

The 2nd graders in our room are a very special group of students.

They are kind, generous, and eager to learn everything. These students attend a Chicago Public School on the West Side of the city, and everyday make the most of what they have. Together, we can give them more of what every kid deserves!

My Project

The students and I have been so lucky getting what we need to succeed in our room and are so grateful for everything. Even as we stretch our resources, we still sometimes need new things in order to keep working hard!

The second graders need more supplies as the middle of the year approaches - more necessities that enhance learning everyday.

We are beginning writing memoirs and will need paper to ensure our published stories are everything we want them to be.

We are also asking for more headphones, so that every student in the class may be able to use a set at a time. This will come in handy! The students also need dry erase markers, which are their favorite way to practice everything from handwriting to math facts!
