My Students

Each morning, my students come into class with smiles on their faces! They do a fabulous job at the routines and rituals they practice. Throughout second grade, we explore a variety of different topics and begin diving into chapter books! I try and get my second graders excited for the journey of where books may take them and want to get them excited about reading! We have a high population of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch at our school, but that doesn't stop them from having the desire to learn and grow!

My Project

This project is for a few tables and some stools for our classroom. The reason I would like these tables is because they are slim, and won't take up quite as much room inside our classroom. As everyone knows, classroom space is extremely limited so coming up with space saving techniques would be very helpful!

These tables would be used in our classroom as a safe spot to store our technology.

The tables would allow students to go to the technology station throughout the day. The stools would be used in a variety of ways. Some of them would be used at these tables while others would be used as prizes for students to get to sit on them instead of their own seats for a day.
