My Project

Hi. Donorchoose helped me cover 60% of my classroom floor with this flooring so I could make a yoga room for my PE classes. I'm looking to cover the rest of the floor and I need 10 more yoga mats to be ready for next year! We have used the yoga room extensively this year, especially when it was raining. We do you yoga, we work on curl ups and push ups as well as stretching and meditation. Most recently we learned Afrikan Hopscotch which is a dance students often perform in Brazil. This yoga room has been a blessing particularly when we have just closed our eyes while lying on the soft flooring in order to relax and find peace in our day. If I can get more of the floor covered then the students won't be so crowded and I continue providing them with this amazing space during PE class.
