This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is our most highly requested item and project. Our students are in the building from 8:30-4pm with a late lunch hour. As a result our students are hungry by the time noon roles around. This impacts their concentration and focus throughout the day. Many of us attempt to have snacks for our classes for when our students ask. This is a common ask. As a result our snack supply needs replenishment from time to time. With the school year almost coming to an end and the finish line being so close we are noticing an increase in feeling hungry. Therefore, our previous donations are almost gone.
