My Students

My students are the best!

I teach an amazing group of third graders.

My class is 100% English language learners and they all come from low-income households. Their parents are hard working people who are trying their best to help their children with the available resources.

Third grade is a challenging year. These students are facing new challenges, new experiences in learning, and higher expectations. I would like this year to be one they treasure forever in their minds and hearts. My wish is for them to have all they need to be well equipped for their education. I know that if we work together as a community, we can help our students succeed and achieve their goals. I believe it can be done. My students deserve the best education possible and access to all the resources that can help them to become successful.

My Project

My students have beautiful tables that facilitates our pair and group works in our Dual Language classroom. The tables don't have space for books, notebooks, or folders. We use baskets and book holders to keep those organized, unfortunately they use most of our shelf space as well. Also, when we are transitioning to another subject we spend some time passing and collecting materials. The chair pockets will hold everything the kids need and it will be closer to them so the transitions will be shorter and smoother. Our classroom will be more organized and we sure will use the extra space for more books!!! Thanks.
