This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are challenging, inquisitive, eager to learn, and hard workers. I teach in an economically disadvantaged community, and I love each and every one of my kids for a different reason.

They are always looking for new ways to learn, and they teach me something new every day.

I love they way that their interests are sparked. They get excited when we are reading together and travelling to another place or time.

They love to work together to make our classroom a home away from home, and I want to make sure that when they leave my classroom, they are better people.

My Project

I work in a district where the resources we use must be found or created. Teacher Pay Teachers is an invaluable resource for me, because there are amazing, teacher-created, exciting activities that are ready to use. These resources are created by teachers, for teachers. Many of the creators on this website are selling their creations to make extra money, and we all know that teachers can use that. I have been using this site for the past 7 years, and it has been a huge reason why I have been able to become a better teacher.
