From smashing a strong spike down the sideline to singing popular songs on the bus ride home after a big win, our players are kids who like to work hard and have fun. They dance together, laugh together, cry together, look after one another, and push each other to be the best that they can be.
Our middle school players strongly believe in the power of teamwork and use it to achieve on the court, in the classroom, and in their communities.
As a program, we work hard to provide them with the fundamentals of their respective sport while equipping them with the life skills to become productive and influential individuals within their sphere of influence. Simply put, our players are the future.
My Project
One of the difficulties that we face being in a low socioeconomic area is purchasing the quality equipment that is necessary to help take our athletic programs to the next level. While our athletic director does a phenomenal job of ensuring that all of our needs are met, we often have to improvise when it comes to those things that would be beneficial but not necessary. Regardless of these difficulties, we have always maintained a high level of excellence and competitiveness through the hard work and dedication of our coaches and, most importantly, our players
A volleyball serving machine would undoubtedly help our volleyball program at North Augusta Middle School take the next step.
With this tool, we would be able to get many more quality reps in terms of serve-receive, setting, and digging drills. Our players deserve the highest quality training that we can offer and, ultimately, this machine would help provide just that.
