This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books are sequels to the novel we read in class. This continuation encourages students to read beyond the requirement and to garner a love for reading. The goals of this project are that students inquire about the sequels and begin these books. This is a special opportunity for my students because they see themselves in the books written and deserve to continue to see that. Representation matters and my students are special enough to be challenged by these books and excel. So thank you for considering our project.
