Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a passionate early childhood educator, my greatest goal is to give my students a joyful, engaging, and personalized learning experience every day. I teach an energetic and diverse group of preschoolers, some with special needs and learning differences. Every moment of play, every small success, and every challenge is an opportunity to help them grow—but too often, my time is split between supporting my students and documenting their progress with pen and paper.
With an iPad dedicated to data collection and documentation, I’ll be able to track student growth more efficiently and effectively in real time—freeing me up to be more present, to model social skills, join in their play, and guide meaningful learning experiences.
Instead of being buried in binders, I’ll be on the floor building block towers, reading stories, and celebrating their breakthroughs.
