The students I teach are academically gifted and/or high achieving learners who attend Title I schools. They are excited about the world around them and how it works. They are from diverse backgrounds but are all eager and fast learners.
I want them to have the opportunities they need to learn and grow.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
My students are amazing children who constantly want to use colorful pens and markers to do work. I would love to have the opportunity to have additional colorful pens, crayons, markers and paints to use with my students. These materials are not only aesthetically appealing, but they also help the visual learners in my class.
Some of my students need to and others want to write different paragraphs in essays in different colors, color coding things a certain way.
Others use colored pencils/pens to follow math problem solving steps. The colors help them see how the steps progress. Student sets will help the students to complete their work.
The point is, color is amazing! It helps them complete work neatly, and it makes things brighter, both student attitudes and their work. I would love to be able to share all of these new items with my class!
