My Project

My students have fantastic musical potential. It pains me that they have had so few opportunities to learn music in a structured environment. As the new Music Teacher at our school, I will be organizing opportunities to reach all students, regardless of ability. This will include students who have had musical instruction their whole lives. It will also include students who have never studied music in school. I am resolved to meeting students where they are, finding out their interests and passions, and then encouraging them to break out of their boxes. To do this, I need to assemble a musical "control center" to direct the action in class. I am pleased that Donors Choose can help me assemble this control center. With a little time and effort, our school will once again produce great musicians!
