Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are studying simple machines and circuits. We are in the beginning stages of working with circuits and need 3 more circuit kits.
The entire school is dual language and inclusive.
Our students have a wide range of talents and many different learning styles that we celebrate! We are committed to social justice and racial equality. Our student body reflects the socioeconomic, language and racial diversity that is present in New York City.
My Project
The "Little Bits" circuit kits will help students continue their exploration of circuits. They have already created simple circuits and parallel circuits. Now, they will explore how to incorporate switches, motors, buzzers and may more exciting bits to their circuits!
By helping us purchase three more robotics kits, you will make it possible for smaller groups of students to work with the kits.
In groups of two, students will explore how to enhance their circuits.
