Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Middle school students are so full of energy! Sometimes they like going outside to release some energy, but there are a group of students who always want to stay in my room to eat lunch. I would like to have some easy games to play so that they will be off their phones. These games will allow them to do that. These games are quick and easy to play and can be completed in the time they have for lunch.
Connect 4, Uno, and Jenga are all strategic team-building games that help students learn to work together to win a game, but also work on good sportsmanship at the same time.
It will also give them something fun to do during the lunch hour. The games are also easy to clean up and store out of the way when lunchtime is over and will go nicely into the bin that is part of this project.
