it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are smart, creative, and fun to work with. They approach all our learning with enthusiasm and energy. They strive to do their very best no matter what we are studying in class. However, it is their boundless energy that sometimes impedes their learning.
Help me bring yoga and physical education games into the classroom to teach students to channel their energy and build mindfulness.
Yoga games will help them to focus their minds and to learn to control their bodies. More active games, like frisbee throwing and scoop ball, will burn some energy, build cardio endurance, and sharpen concentration. These will in turn help students to learn more.
