This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last year we were so lucky to have our Incredible No-Shh Library project funded, and the materials from that project have been a huge hit with our students. There are many students who enjoy the quiet alternative that the library can provide at recess, but sometimes it's fun to be loud in the library.
We offer rotating activities throughout the week, but Game Day is by far the most popular.
Students love the giant Sorry and Chess games that are a part of game day and they will be so excited to play with the Giant Uno, Connect 4, and Jenga games that are a part of this project. I would also love to provide more games that are fun and easy for our younger students by adding Go Fish, Crazy 8s, Blink, and multiple Memory games to our collection. The puzzle tables would be an amazing storage solution for those students who like to come in and add to the progression of a puzzle throughout the week. The cabinet will store the new games and make them accessible.
