My Project

In today's classroom, students are having a difficult time staying focused and in their designated area. Flexible seating is a tool that can be very helpful in this area. Flexible seating is the option to have different seating within the classroom setting. This can include but is not limited to; rolling chairs, cushions, rocking seats, and much more!

After researching and implementing flexible seating within the classroom, I have recognized the beneficial impact it has on students and their on task behaviors.

When the students in my classroom have the ability to move while they are trying to work, they are more likely to remain focused on the task at hand and less likely to let their impulsive behaviors.

Included in this project are a few new items to add to our flexible seating library. The spinning seat cushions will be a fun addition. The beanbag is extremely likely to become a quick favorite in our room.

With our classroom growing in size, we would love your help with this project.
