This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how much imagination my students have. The games they come up with and the places they imagine are amazing. Giving them more dramatic play toys like a wooden food set and a grill for the kitchen area would let them imagine more places and people. From being a chef cooking in their own kitchen, to cooking nuggets at McDonalds.

Dramatic play is very important for their emotional growth and their early development.

Having these play set will really help them connect more to the other students but also let them have a better connection to me their teacher. Helping further their speech and social and emotional learning.
