This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students who come to my library love to build and be creative! Problem-solving, designing, and engineering skill-building are very important in middle school. These explorations are a perfect opportunity for them to learn about essential topics, such as issues related to climate and the environment—kind to one another. When students work together to problem-solve, they also build relationships and social skills. In this project, I request various LEGO sets for students to use when researching environmental topics in small groups.

These Lego sets allow students to create and play as they learn about the related environment.
