My Students
My students are amazing! They come to school happy to be here despite the obstacles they face at home. My students are culturally diverse. They come from a variety of backgrounds and are socioeconomically deprived. This doesn't hinder their loving spirit.
My students are motivated and willing to learn and I want to give them the best classroom possible.
Students in surrounding communities often have 21st century supplies and equipment and I want my students to have the same opportunities that their neighbors do so that their futures are just as bright.
My Project
I received four stools similar to these this past spring, and my students loved them. They would choose those stools over the other furniture, so I want to provide more stools for my classroom.
These stools will allow more students to take charge of their learning and make the choice that works best for them.
Students that struggle in my math classroom focus better standing or dangling their feet, and that is what these stools provide. I have noticed that the stools provide the student the ability to focus better while taking notes. Overall, I have seen major changes in my students when they are given the seating that they need.
