Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is composed of a diverse group of students who are immensely creative, kind, and have a passion for service. At our Title I-funded school, 100% of our students receive free breakfast, lunch, and a government-provided​ snack. As a result, acquiring supplies can be quite challenging.

My hope is to provide the tools necessary for my students to be curious, find joy, and success in fifth grade!

My Project

My classroom is filled with avid readers and as a result it is important for me to provide as many high interest books as possible to keep them engaged in their learning. With your help I will be able to add two additional highly requested book sets to our classroom library along with 3 more high interest titles.

Classroom incentives have helped increase accountability and engagement in our classroom.

However our supply of incentives is beginning to run low. With your help I will be able to replenish out incentive basket with new and exciting incentives.

Finally, I would love to provide my students with new white boards and markers. White boards and markers provide students the opportunity to share their thinking non-verbally.
