My Students

The students in my class are such an amazing group of children. They are all very curious about school and life. They love asking questions and finding answers to things pertaining to their education.

My students are all so excited to dive into learning and explore the unknown of fifth grade.

In fifth grade, we participate in a rotation system. My students have really enjoyed having the opportunity to rotate between all three of the fifth grade teachers. They have loved getting to know each of the teachers and use the tools and materials they each have in their classrooms.

My Project

During the craziness of COVID-19, students were at home and did not have access to a broad variety of literature. Due to a lack of variety, students were not finding a motivation to read at home. With this project, I hope to inspire my students to find a greater love for reading by experiencing more literature.

For my project, I have requested multiple box sets of series such as Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Fablehaven, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Magic Tree House Series.

These are books that will open up my students to a world of new stories that will inspire and motivate them to find a greater love for reading.
