My Students

My classroom is buzzing with creative little bees! They are eager and excited to begin exploring and experimenting with a wide range of art supplies. What is the problem you ask? Well that's simple! We don't have the supplies we need!

My students come to school each day with smiles on their faces.

They are happy to walk into our child-friendly, age-appropriate Kindergarten classroom.

I fight hard to maintain a developmentally appropriate program. I teach reading, writing, math, science, social studies and word work each day. However, I don't forget the importance of the arts, play and investigations for young students. I have a diverse group of learners and it is important that each of them come to school motivated to learn!

My Project

My students will use these materials daily during Choice Time, a time of day when students have an opportunity to be self-directed learners; a time for them to learn through their interests. These materials will allow my students to paint, collage, sketch and organize!

Donations to this project will supply an under-stocked classroom with high quality art supplies.

My students will have an opportunity to express themselves through various art experiences. Easel paper will allow my students to develop gross motor skills while painting on an easel. Glue will give them the ability to sculpt, collage and create endless projects. The storage bins will encourage independent organization and storage of materials.
