Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students do not have art materials at home. When they enter the art room, they are bursting with excitement and ready to create.
This is the second year art has been available to our elementary students and the biggest need is good quality paper for over 500 students.
We will be using the paper so students can experience using materials many have never experienced before, such as pastels, watercolor, and tempera.
The school art budget is low, but student excitement is high. We will use the paper to create fabulous works of art for the annual art show.
