My Project
Please help fund equipment for my adapted PE students! We don't have much at all of adapted equipment for physical education class. I am seeking to grow this class so that everyone has an equal opportunity regardless of their abilities and disabilities! My students make my day each and every day and deserve to feel the love from me when they come into my classroom! With the drum fit materials, my students would be able to work their arms and get their heart rates pumping to fun music! We use bowling in class but it is difficult for the students in wheelchairs to roll the ball, so a ramp would be amazing! A giant soccer ball would get everyone included and easier for students to play with rather than a small soccer ball. The all purpose goals will help all of my students to get more opportunities to score goals rather than waiting or using regular cones! The two person parachutes would be amazing for fine motor skills, balancing and working on teamwork together. We could do so much with flag football belts, such as tag games, music games, and locomotor games! The rainbow ribbon wands would also go with a fitness dance day, and the students could create dances with me and their friends while getting the joy of a waving ribbon. A batting tee would help all students who have a challenge to hit the whiffle ball during indoor and outdoor play without feeling discouraged or the pressure to hit a ball that was thrown. I can't begin to explain how much joy these students bring to me and how badly they deserve to have fun in my class with implements they can actually get involved with. We don't have much, but anything is appreciated truly! Thank you in advance!
