it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There's nothing quite as exhilarating or exciting as opening brand new art supplies and being the first person to use them! The simple act of putting paint on a brand new canvas rather than one layered in years of gesso, or a piece of cardboard, tangibly impacts the motivation students need to create work they will be proud of. It's been a few years since students have had that satisfaction here at our High School, and upon returning to school in the fall, I'd like to give my students that opportunity.
These materials will provide a needed quality and morale boost here in room 303!
We've never had the luxury of paint markers, have been reusing paint brushes and canvasses for years, and have officially run out of watercolor paper. These student artists deserve a refresh!
