My Project
My students are phenomenal kids! They come in daily hungry for knowledge. They are still learning to be organized and keep up with due dates/deadlines. The rolling white board would be helpful to be able to put in the hallway to post daily updates in the morning as students are coming to homeroom. Many come as early as 8:00 and would have 30 minutes to complete tasks while they wait for class to start at 8:30. This rolling white board would also come in super handy for our annual STEAM night! It would be rolled out to the main hall to help visitors find the exhibits they are looking for. The markers will be used not only on the board, but in the classroom as well. The laminating sheets are helpful when I need to laminate student work that I want to keep for years to come to use for exemplar work. I use it to create manipulatives like card sorts for students on the different topics to help reinforce concepts. Task cards to hang around the room or hallway to get kids up and moving and practice concepts and not have to constantly reprint year after year. And I laminiate any lab station cards, escape room cards, directions, etc. in order for them to stand up to kids moving them around all day.
