Montessori Inspired Materials for Students to Explore

Help me give my students the enrichment of quality materials to boost their literacy with engaging science, sensory, and occupational therapy tools.

My Project

These materials will give us more opportunities to teach our students with learning materials they prefer. Students will use the letters to build words and the picture vocabulary cards to build vocabulary and phonemic awareness. Our nonverbal students love to engage with many kinds and forms of letters. These materials will help students build literacy skills, expand their trial and use of language skills, and build muscle memory and strength for prewriting and writing activities. Color sorting helps with pre math skills, expands language skills, and helps develop patterning skills. Geometric solid math shapes help students learn shapes all around them and build their math skills and vocabulary through exploration. The sandpaper covered world globe shows students their world and can help them connect with other places and peoples in the world. The botany puzzles make students scientists with hands on experiential learning.

Montessori materials for Math, Science, and Literacy help students learn with hands on engaging materials that encourage independence.

It is a teacher's joy and challenge to find materials that will reach their students within their zone of development and inspire students beyond where they can achieve on their own.
