This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are between the ages of four and five. They are just starting their school experience and they all have a great love of learning.

Many of these students come to school lacking the basic foundations needed to succeed, not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.

Every student learns through different modalities and it is important to provide a rich environment that is a component of the curriculum.

These developmental years are crucial and they require hands on learning, small group instruction, creative play, the use of manipulatives, auditory processing and social opportunities.
