Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a public Montessori choice school in Dallas, Texas. We teach social-emotional learning, explore creativity and academics using the Montessori Method.
Our classroom has two classroom libraries in English and Spanish.
We need a place to organize it. The books are stored in a small area outside of the classroom. We need your help to purchase flexible seating furniture and unique library furniture. The children can use the dual language library in unison with the Montessori Materials. The use of flexible seating and a small specialized library will promote a calm area in the room. The social-emotional curriculum promotes a calm area in the room.
