My Project

Being away from friends during the pandemic has made it challenging for students to recognize emotions. Glad Monster, Sad Monster will help children with special needs learn about feelings in a fun, creative, and non-threatening way. Adults can read the story to students and model feelings portrayed in the book. They can also compare the feelings of the monsters with student's emotions and have a conversation about them. Projects about feelings can be created mirroring the book and students can learn to share their creations with their friends and family.
