My Students

My students are creative middle schoolers who are interested in exploring the world of art. Students manipulate a variety of media in our classroom as they find a variety of solutions to challenges they approach with visual answers.

Our school is a great place for learning, and I am proud of the accomplishments of our students, which include recognition at local, state, and national competitions.

In addition to achieving this success, my students are interested in giving back to the community through a variety of service-learning projects.

My Project

This year is unlike any other in which I have taught before. Due to the safety guidelines and regulations, sharing materials must be limited as much as possible and students will need to have access to as many individualized tools as possible. In the art room, this means we need to have access to more supplies than ever before so students can still have access to making amazing things in a safe way.

This class set of monoprinting supplies will allow students to have access to the tools needed in the safest way possible so they can still experience printmaking as a method of creating in the art room.

I am excited about giving students the opportunity to use this tool and know that having an entire set of these for students to use will help cut down on sharing and allow students the safest exposure to this resource as possible in our current classroom situation.
