My Project

My students are fun, energetic, happy, and are eager learners from different countries around the world. Each student adds value to our school. We get to learn about different cultures by having different nationalities in our classroom. We are responsible, respectful, dedicated, and achievers in every way. We are in need of some resources to help teach financial literacy to the young generation. Most students do not identify needs vs. wants and these books, cash register, and play materials will help them to experience the financial literacy to a new level of learning.

My students are always eager to learn about how to make money, and want to buy a variety of items.

Each year I have the students create their own stores to help teach them financial literacy. These books, play toys, and cash register will allow them to experience real life situations. They work hard at their school work and earn money. These materials would allow them to have many opportunities to expand their learning because they would be able to read, make change with other students, and would be able to identify needs vs. wants and how to understand life.
