My Students

In my class, every student is special and unique. I've taken joy in being a part of a special school community where students, families, and teachers all work together to give our students a strong social, emotional and academic foundation. We all have the same goal in mind: to cultivate a nurturing environment in which we are committed to challenging each student to meet his/her optimal potential academically, socially, and emotionally by respecting, appreciating and challenging students in a caring community, while building a sense of responsibility and respect.

My Project

I am asking for books, to be used with teachers for professional development, to come up with ways we can teach our students about finances.

Many of our students don't understand the real concept of money.

These books will help teach my students what money really is, and how to be responsible for money. this includes earning money, and what to do when you earn money. Also, the importance of earning and saving money. They will start to learn the importance of saving money, and why we should save money for a rainy day. They will learn to appreciate the value of money.
